Scouts BSA Troop 189 for Girls

We are a troop for adventurous young women ages 11-17* chartered to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle.

We are a place for those who are willing to live by the Scout Oath and Law, without regard to race, religion, national origin, mental/physical different-ability (disability), veteran status, marital status, or sexual orientation/identification.

Scouts BSA is one of many fine programs run by the Boy Scouts of America, including Cub Scouts, Venturing, and other great programs.

We meet on Mondays, 7 – 8pm at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther St. Carlisle PA 17013. Our partner troop for boys, also meets at this same place and time. Each troop functions separately, but we do come together at times for common events, such as special events, large community service projects, CPR classes, etc.

Information about other Scouts BSA Troops is available at https://beascout.scouting.org/.

Any adults interested in leadership positions with the Troop must complete a series of State and BSA background checks, as well BSA Youth Protection Training and additional trainings for their specific position.
